Beyond its business appeal, Melrose Arch offers a vibrant European inspired lifestyle, with local and international retail brands, diverse dining options, luxury hotels and exclusively equipped health clubs and sporting facilities, and this month the spotlight is on South African sport – a category the precinct takes very seriously.
Your VIP pass to everything sport starts at Totalsports. Wear your Springbok pride beyond the field in all-day comfort and celebrate the boys in green and gold rugby fan gear, available from Totalsports ahead of the Springboks vs. Wallabies game. Whether it’s a heritage Springboks cap or bucket hat, get game ready in a polo tee or hoodie to herald a highly anticipated win this weekend. Gear up in your favourite Springbok jersey and rally behind the Boks as they play on South African soil once again.

In a build up to the big game this weekend, this Thursday, 21 August 2025, between 7 and 9am, TransUnion Africa is unveiling a first on the African continent at Melrose Arch, together with Springbok, player Lukhanyo Am and TSHEPO Jeans’ fashion designer and entrepreneur Tshepo Mohlala.
At the corner of Melrose Boulevard and Sunnyside Road, a powerful new installation will appear at the entrance to the precinct. A first-of-its-kind on the African continent, the ‘Be the Reason Things Change’ campaign is designed to tackle barriers to financial inclusion.

Designed to symbolically strip away the barriers that keep millions of South Africans locked out of the formal credit economy, this unique initiative is part of a nationwide campaign that will raise over R10 million in free e-learning credit courses and prizes available to South Africans. Aiming to afford people the knowledge and tools they need to understand their financial story and unlock new opportunities; as part of the launch, South Africans will stand the chance to win one of five education funds valued at R20 000 each or one of ten tech-for-learning kits valued at R7 000 each.
Join us at Melrose Arch this Thursday, between 7 and 9am, for the big reveal, or visit www.transunion.co.za/bethereason from Tuesday, 26 August 2025 for more.
With so much to see, do and experience, there is something for everyone to enjoy at Melrose Arch this month.
