Bang & Olufsen opened an all-new South African store recently – in Johannesburg’s Melrose Arch – celebrating sound, design and 90 years of the world’s premium, iconic brand.
The Danish Ambassador to South Africa cut the tape to officially open the new Bang & Olufsen store on High Street Melrose Arch on Thursday 3rd September. A select handful of senior managers from the Denmark head office were also present.
Bang & Olufsen manufacture a highly distinctive and exclusive range of televisions, music systems, loudspeakers and multimedia products that combine technological excellence with emotional appeal. Bang & Olufsen is the world’s oldest audio brand and manufacture artful items of prestige audio quality.
The new store concept delivers a sensory experience through sound and design. “The Bang & Olufsen store is where existing customers and a new generation of discerning consumers will hear, see and feel the Bang & Olufsen brand and be able to interact and play with our products,” said Shannon Rogotzki of Bang & Olufsen South Africa. “We have created a store featuring an atmosphere that is luxurious and welcoming at the same time. The layout and interior have been designed to captivate curiosity as you move through the store. We are thrilled to open this new store in Melrose Arch to add to the other South African stores, and we will continue to build the brand in SA with other new stores to follow”.
