If it’s good food, entertainment and quality family time you’re looking for this Easter, Melrose Arch is the place to be from 2-5 April.
Melrose Arch has some of the finest restaurants in Joburg, and additional outdoor seating on the Piazza and High Street allows you to safely enjoy a meal while observing physical distancing. From 2-4 April, you can eat alfresco at your favourite restaurant and enjoy live entertainment on the Piazza from 1pm – 3pm. Restaurant bookings are essential.
There will be a delightful Easter Garden at the intersection of Slip and Cross Streets for youngsters where they can have their photographs taken with the Easter Bunny and receive chocolate eggs courtesy of Melrose Arch. The Easter Garden is open from 2-5 April from 12pm-3pm. You’ll also be able to treat the kids to some Swirl ice cream on the Piazza, the smashed and rolled ice cream that’s proved to be such a hit, there’s a Swirl shop opening soon at Melrose Arch. Be warned – you could be there for a while though as you decide, as the combination of flavours is endless (we recommend the Ferrero chocolate and condensed milk smashed with vanilla ice cream).
If you’re in the mood for a bit of shopping, there will be an Easter Market along Slip and Cross Streets and in the Lower and Middle Retail Galleria. The market will offer arts and crafts, fresh produce, delectable food and sweet treats, jewellery and more. The Easter Market will take place from 2-5 April from 10am-4pm.
Visit Melrose Arch for a hopping good time and lots of Easter treats!
