Rodizio’s Budget-Friendly Lunch Menu

After a successful launch at the beginning of July 2019 Rodizio Grill and Tapas is officially open for business. The space previously occupied by Roast Café has become home to Café Rio, which boasts Brazilian-inspired dishes that will make your taste buds believe you’ve been transported straight to South America. With that said, Roast Café fans will be delighted to learn that certain favourites on the menu will still be available at Café Rio, such as Roast Café’s delectable cakes, its oft-talked-about breakfasts and several other popular items.

It’s Lunchtime At Rodizio

Infusing Portuguese influence into their menu, Rodizio serves up a mean feast. And as if their food wasn’t amazing enough, Rodizio also has budget-friendly lunchtime specials, which means you can afford to eat there every day! In the short period that the restaurant has been open, the half chicken and chips at R85 per meal has proven to be a fan favourite. Following suit, the beef or chicken pregos at R60 are flying out of the kitchen and pleasing diners left, right and centre. Another lunchtime special worth sinking your teeth into would be the beef or chicken schnitzel which also trades for R60 per plate. All lunchtime specials are served with an alcoholic or non-alcoholic caipirinha to add an even more authentic Brazilian zing to your lunchtime experience.

Smoothies, Juices And Drinks

Rodizio brags with a list of smoothies, freshly squeezed juices, and blended and iced drinks. Customers can indulge in frozen Nutella cappuccinos, protein power smoothies and iced turmeric lattes to name a few. The eatery is also known for serving excellent coffee, perfect as an after meal round-up, or excuse to escape the office. Above and beyond these interesting choices, Rodizio has a fully fledged bar and stocks the usual run of soft drinks, beers and wine coolers.

Sweet Treats

Sticking to tradition, Café Rio has carried on where Roast Café left off with its pastries and cakes – with a few welcome additions. Diners can expect to indulge in an assortment of layered cakes, including the popular rainbow cake, and pastries such as whipped cream croissants, churros sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and chocolate brownies.
